Procon Engineering places great emphasis on service and support and offers manufacturers the opportunity to place the calibration and emergency breakdown repairs of all their equipment, within a single contract. This is because we calibrate our own weigh equipment and weigh equipment from other suppliers; uniquely, Procon also offers a calibration and emergency callout service for non-weigh equipment. You can hand over responsibility for scheduling visits and managing breakdowns for all your equipment to us under a ‘Total Site Contract’.

Total Site Support

Under Total Site Contracts, manufacturers only need to work with one team of engineers for all their equipment calibrations, servicing and breakdowns. You can leave the responsibility for arranging scheduled visits to Procon’s service team, who can be contacted at any time of day or night to arrange emergency callouts.

Service Database

Contract customers have password access to a unique service database which holds details of all equipment under contract. Following a site visit the engineer uploads all information to the database, as well as leaving hard copy certificates on-site.

This database gives an at-a-glance summary of the current status of each item, including due dates and scheduled visits. It contains all calibration certificates which can be of assistance during external audits and which are available to download if required.

“Please pass on my thanks to your service engineers who recently carried out the calibrations on our vessel weighing systems very quickly and efficiently.”

Michael Da Silveira – ADM Pura Foods, Purfleet

We have entrusted the annual calibration of our equipment to Procon because they are able to handle both weighing and non-weighing equipment. This means I only have to deal with one company to get everything done and it has proved a good move.”

CALIBRATION

weighcal.fw

Procon Engineering provides a comprehensive on-site industrial weighing calibration service for equipment ranging from microgram laboratory balances up to high capacity weighbridges. All engineers carry extensive test equipment with them and calibration is carried out, as applicable, in accordance with Weights and Measures, ISO 9001 and UK Weighing Federation requirements.

Hard copy calibration certificates traceable to National Standards are printed out and filed on-site. Following each visit, certificates and other information is uploaded to a unique webpage which you can use as an at-a-glance summary and as a reference for audit purposes. All Procon test equipment is calibrated at UKAS accredited laboratories. Routine calibration and service visits which cannot be carried out during normal working hours can be undertaken at weekends if required.

Procon Engineering’s highly successful ForceCal Force Calibration System for calibrating large weighing vessels, silos and hoppers is available with a system capability from 1 to 40 tonne. Calibrations can be carried out within minutes during the normal production cycle without emptying the system.

Procon Engineering provides a unique FlowCal on-site flow meter calibration service for a wide range of flow meters using our mobile test rigs. Calibrations range from 50 to 25,000 litres per hour and typically up to 10 flow metres mat be calibrated per day on-site. Carrying out on-site calibration for flow meters significantly reduces cost and minimises plant down time.

Certification, traceable to National Standards, is issued on-site and all work is carried out by Procon’s experienced Field Service Team.
